Description & Operation: Inputs
Power is supplied at all times from 40-amp fusible link letter "I", located in the fuse and fusible link box, to circuit breaker terminal No. 1, through circuit breaker terminal No. 2, to Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU) terminal No. 51, to SECU terminal No. 49 and to key switch terminal No. 2 (M/T models) or 3 (A/T models), through 10-amp fuse No. 13, located in the fuse block (J/B).
When the key switch is "ON" (ignition key is inserted in key cylinder), power is supplied through key switch terminal No. 1 (M/T models) or 4 (A/T models), to SECU terminal No. 25.
When the left front door switch is "ON" (door is OPEN), ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 1, through left front door switch terminal No. 2, to left front door switch terminal No. 3, through body grounds B7 (on models without CD auto changer) or B59 (with CD auto changer), both located on left side on "B" pillar, and B12, located on left side "C" pillar.
When the right front door switch is "ON" (door is OPEN), ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 2, through right front door switch terminal No. 2 and to right front door switch terminal No. 3, through body grounds B106 (located on right side behind seat back, and B127, located on left side on "B" pillar.
When the rear door switches are "ON" (door is OPEN), ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 3, through rear door switches terminal No. 1, to rear door switch case grounds.
When door lock/unlock switch of front power window main switch is "LOCK/UNLOCK", ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 33, through front power window main switch terminals No. 8 and 5 (2002 models) or 14 and 17 (2003 models), and through body grounds M9 (located behind left side of dash), M25 (located above the fuse block) and M87 (located behind right side of dash).
Keyfob signal is inputted to SECU (the antenna of the system is combined with SECU).
