Electrical Component Locator: Miscellaneous

MISCELLANEOUS LOCATION

Component Component Location
ABS Check Connector (2WD) Under dash, left of steering column.
Data Link Connector (DLC) (CONSULT) At left side of dash, behind fuse box cover.
Data Link Connector (DLC) (GST) Under left dash panel, near fuse box cover.
Diode (ASCD) (2.4L A/T) Behind left side of dash.
Diode (Brake Fluid Level Switch) Behind left side of dash.
Diode (IACV-FICD Solenoid Valve) Behind center of dash.
Diode (Keyless Entry) Behind lower right end of dash.
Diode (Parking Brake Switch) Behind left side of dash.
Diode (TCM) Behind lower left end of dash.
Distributor (2.4L VIN D) On left front side of engine. See Figure .
Distributor (3.3L VIN E) On top front of engine. See Figure .
Distributor (3.3L VIN M) On top front of engine. See Figure .
Dropping Resistor (3.3L VIN E) Right front corner of engine compartment, near battery.

Fan Resistor Behind glove box, near blower motor.
Ignition Coil In distributor.
Joint Connector No. 1 Behind center of dash.

Resistor & Condenser (Ignition) (2.4L VIN D) At left front side of engine, near distributor.
Resistor & Condenser (Ignition) (3.3L VIN E) On top right side of engine, near distributor. See Figure .

Seat Belt Pretensioner (Driver/Passenger) At base of respective "B" pillar.
SMJ Connector Behind lower right side of dash. See Figure .
