Remote Keyless Entry System: Description: Inputs

Power is supplied at all times to BCM terminal No. 7 through 50-amp fusible link letter "F", (located in the fuse and fusible link box) to key switch terminal No. 3, through 10-amp fuse No. 19, located in the fuse block (J/B).

When the key switch is "ON" (ignition key is inserted in key cylinder), power is supplied through key switch terminal No. 4 to BCM terminal No. 62.

When the front left door switch is "ON" (door is OPEN), ground is supplied to BCM terminals 14 and 54 (without vehicle security system), through front left door switch terminal No. 2, to driver door switch case ground.

When the front right door switch is "ON" (door is OPEN), ground is supplied to BCM terminal No. 10, through front right door switch terminal No. 2, to front right door switch case ground.

When the rear door switches are "ON" (door is OPEN), ground is supplied to BCM terminal No. 11, Through rear door switches terminal No. 1, to rear door switches case grounds.

Key fob signal is inputted to BCM (the antenna of the system is combined with BCM). The remote keyless entry system controls operation of the power door lock, trunk lid opener, interior lamp and step lamps, panic alarm, hazard and horn reminder and keyless power window down (open).
