Anti-Theft System: Operation

To set anti-theft system in armed mode, remove ignition key, close back door, engine hood and all doors. Lock doors using key or multi-remote controller. SECURITY indicator light will illuminate for 30 seconds, indicating pre-armed mode. SECURITY indicator light will turn off, pause briefly, then flash once every 2.6 seconds. This indicates system is in armed mode.

To cancel armed mode, unlock doors or glass hatch using key or multi-remote controller. Alarm will trigger if any of the following conditions occur while system is in armed mode.

• Engine hood or trunk is opened.
• Door(s) is unlocked without key or multi-remote controller.

If alarm is triggered, horn will sound and headlights will flash. To deactivate alarm, unlock door or glass hatch using key or multi-remote controller.
