Overall Function Test

Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between PCM connector terminal No. 22 and ground by backprobing connector. See Figure. With either A/T in "P" or "N" position or M/T in "N" position, voltage should be 0 volts. With transmission in any other position, voltage should be 5 volts.

NOTE: Steps 1-3 are for M/T models. For A/T models, go to step 4.
