Main Switch Circuit Check

  1. Disconnect cruise control main switch. Measure voltage between main switch harness connector terminals No. 1 and 4. See Figure . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check fuses. Replace any blown fuses. If all fuses are okay, check main switch power and ground circuit. Repair as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Check cruise control main switch. See MAIN SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace main switch if necessary. If main switch is okay, main switch circuit is okay.
