Fast Idle Control Device (FICD)

Diagnostic charts are not available to test system. To test FICD solenoid, apply battery voltage across solenoid terminals. If solenoid does not operate, check for sticking plunger or broken spring. If plunger and spring are okay, replace solenoid.
