The clutch assembly is a single disc type with a diaphragm spring pressure plate. Pulsar NX XE and Sentra use a mechanical release system consisting of clutch pedal, cable, release lever and release bearing. Maxima, Pulsar NX SE and Stanza use a hydraulically controlled clutch system consisting of a master cylinder and slave cylinder controlled by the clutch pedal.
