Overdrive Cancel Circuit For Automatic Transmission Test

Turn ignition on. Turn overdrive cancel switch to "OFF" position. On 300ZX, measure voltage between terminals No. 5 and No. 8. Also measure voltage between terminals No. 5 and No. 16. On Maxima, Pickup, Pathfinder, 200SX and Van models, measure voltage between terminals No. 5 and 8 only. Voltage reading for all models should be about 12 volts. If no continuity is present, check wiring between overdrive cancel solenoid, overdrive cancel switch and cruise control unit.
