THERMOTIME Switch

The thermotime switch is built into the thermostat housing. It is connected in series with the cold start valve. A bi-metallic contact in the switch opens or closes, depending on the coolant temperature, sending a signal to the cold start valve so that an additional amount of fuel can be injected for starting the engine.
