Neutral Safety Switch
- Switch operates back-up lights and prevents starting except in "P" or "N". To adjust, ensure transmission is in "N" with lever at transmission in vertical position.
- Remove alignment hole screw at bottom of switch and loosen retaining bolts. Secure an alignment pin of .098" (2.5 mm) diameter. Move switch until alignment pin can be inserted in rotor. Tighten retaining bolts and replace alignment hole screw.
