Fuel System Bleeding: Pickup

  1. Priming pump is located on side of injection pump housing. Bleed fuel system by removing primary pump cap and loosening air vent screw. Turn priming pump counterclockwise and move up and down until no air comes out air vent screws.
  2. Tighten air vent screws. Push and turn priming pump clockwise. Install cap. Wipe off excess fuel. See Fig 1 .
