Steering Columns: Description

Steering column is a collapsible safety type designed to be compressed under impact. Between steering wheel and gear assembly, a rubber coupling is used to prevent road vibrations from reaching steering wheel. Two universal joints are used between the gear assembly and steering wheel to give the most suitable steering wheel position and angle.
