Check The Purge Control Piping
- Preliminary inspection: Check for clogging and damage to the fuel vapor canister and fuel vapor sub canister.
- Preliminary inspection: check valve function check
CAUTION:
Perform the inspection with the 12V battery connected.
- Open the fuel filler lid. Here, the fuel tank solenoid is automatically released.
- Disconnect the fuel vapor control line connector from the ELCM.
- Apply positive pressure of 5 kPa (0.73 psi) to the connection port (A) of the ventilation connector for the ELCM, and check if the positive pressure is maintained.
