Precautions At Quick Charging

WARNING:
  • Always use the quick charger which is compatible with this vehicle. An accident or trouble will result if a quick charger not compatible with this vehicle is used.
  • Do not touch the metal terminal of quick charging port and quick charger (quick charging plug). An accident such as electric shock may result.
  • After charging is complete, securely close the quick charger port inner lid and the quick charger lid to prevent any water or dust intrusion. Any water or dust intrusion may cause an electrical leakage, resulting in an electric shock or short.
NOTE:
  • The electric motor unit will not start while the quick charger (quick charging plug) is being connected to the quick charger port. In order to start the electric motor unit, remove the quick charger (quick charging plug) from the quick charger port.
  • The charging may end before a fully-charged status is reached. This is a control implemented to shorten the charging duration, and does not indicate any trouble. To fully charge the battery, perform the charging again.
