Fuel Tank Leveling Valve Check
- Place a drain pan, and disconnect the fuel filler leveling tube at fuel tank solenoid valve side (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).NOTE: If fuel leaks from the fuel filler leveling tube at this stage, the leveling valve may be defective.
- If the fuel vapor hose does not leak fuel when the tank is full, the fuel tank leveling valve is normal.
- If fuel does not leak from the fuel filler leveling tube with the fuel tank full, the leveling valve is normal. If not so, the leveling valve may be defective. Replace the fuel tank (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
- Connect the fuel filler leveling tube at the fuel tank solenoid valve side.
