Fuel Leak Check

  1. Start the engine to operate the fuel pump. Set the vehicle to Idle Continuous Mode (Refer to General Information - Precautions for Operation, Idle Continuous Mode CONTINUOUS IDLING MODE ).
  2. Turn OFF the Power mode of the power switch and stop the engine.
  3. Perform a visual inspection to see if fuel is leaking from the fuel tank, hoses, pipes, injectors, etc. (Refer to Fuel Supply - Description, Description of Configuration Diagrams CONSTRUCTION DIAGRAM ).
  4. Visually inspect the fuel hoses and pipes to make sure they are not cracked or broken.
  5. Inspect each hose and pipe clamp installation to make sure they are not loose.
  6. Visually inspect the hose and pipe securements to make sure there are no abnormalities due to deterioration of the rubber in the clamps, etc.
