Emission Control: Description: General Description

For the emission control system of new OUTLANDER PHEV, the evaporative emission system has been changed from old OUTLANDER PHEV due to the adoption of the sealed type fuel tank. Furthermore, due to this change, the fuel control by the ECM, fuel tank internal pressure control (purge control when the fuel tank internal pressure is high), evaporative emission system leak monitor and purge flow monitor have been added.
