Cruise Control Setting: Notes

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
  2. Push the cruise control ON/OFF switch (cruise control system: ON, cruise control display screen: display).
  3. Drive the vehicle at a constant speed range [approximately 30 km/h (18.6 mph) or more] which can be set by the cruise control system.
  4. Push the SET - switch, "SET" will be displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter.
  5. Check to be sure that when the SET - switch is released the speed is the desired constant speed.
NOTE: If the vehicle speed decreases to approximately 15 km/h (9.3 mph) below the set speed because of climbing a hill for example, it is normal for the cruise control to be cancelled. When the vehicle speed is decelerated to the low speed limit [approximately 30 km/h (18.6 mph)] or less, the constant speed driving will be cancelled even if the vehicle speed is not decelerated 15 km/h (9.3 mph) or more from the set speed.
