Work Procedure

DESCRIPTION

When replacing 8CH CAN gateway, the following procedure must be performed.

WORK PROCEDURE

REPLACE 8CH CAN GATEWAY
Replace 8CH CAN gateway. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

GO to 2.
PERFORM 8CH CAN GATEWAY PROGRAMMING
M.U.T.-III SE Configuration

Perform the 8CH CAN gateway programming. Refer to "M.U.T.-III SE User's Manual".

GO to 3.
CHECK ALL ECU DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULTS
1. Erase all ECU Diagnostic Trouble Code results using M.U.T.-III SE.
2. Turn the electric motor switch OFF.
3. Turn the electric motor switch ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
4. Check that all ECU Diagnostic Trouble Code results have no DTC (e.g. U1000 and U1001) of CAN communication.
