CAUTION: When the knock sensor is replaced, initialize the learned value using scan tool (M.U.T.-III) (Refer to Precautions before Service - INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE FOR LEARNING VALUE IN MFI ENGINE ).

Pre-removal Operation

Engine Room Under Cover Front Removal (Refer to UNDER COVER ).
Oil Filter Removal (Refer to Oil Filter Replacement ).
Oil Filter Cover Removal (Refer to OIL PAN AND TIMING CHAIN CASE ).

Post-installation Operation

Oil Filter Cover Installation (Refer to OIL PAN AND TIMING CHAIN CASE ).
