Hydraulic Pressure Test: Notes
NOTE:
Prior to this test, check that the fuel level warning does not flash and the Main Drive Lithium-ion Battery is charged enough. If the fuel level warning flashes, refill the fuel tank. If the Main Drive Lithium-ion Battery is partially discharged, recharge the battery.
- Install the following special tools at the hydraulic pressure outlet ports shown in the illustration.
- Oil pressure gauge <3.0 MPa (435 psi)> (MD998330)
- Joint (MD998332)
WARNING: Observe the following safety precautions during this test.- Service technicians must not stand in front of and at the rear of the vehicle.
- Do not carry out this test while the battery is being charged.
- Close the hood securely.
- Do not touch the components other than the hydraulic pressure port.
- Lift the vehicle. Then turn on the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to illuminate the ready indicator.
- Measure the hydraulic pressure at each measuring point in the conditions specified in the standard hydraulic pressure table, and check that the measurements are within the standard value.NOTE: If the hydraulic pressure is high with the vehicle stationary, the measured value may be incorrect. Repeat the measurement.
- If not within the standard value, replace the valve body assembly.
