Auto-Dimming Feature Test

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Make sure that the selector lever is not in the "R" range.
Cover the front light sensor on the back of the inside rear view mirror with a black cloth.
Check that the mirror dims within 2 minutes when the light strikes the rear light sensor.
If the mirror does not dim, replace the inside rear view mirror (Refer to INSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR ).
