Removal And Installation: Notes

WARNING: For removal and installation of the passenger's side air bag module, always observe the service procedures described in, Driver's Air Bag Module, to Passenger's (Front) Air Bag Module.

The following bolts and screws are used for installing the instrument panel. Bolts and screws are indicated as marks shown in the illustration in the sections of "Removal and Installation" and "Disassembly and Assembly."

CAUTION:

Refer to - SRS SERVICE PRECAUTIONS and PASSENGER'S (FRONT) AIR BAG MODULE before removing the passenger's (front) air bag module.
Do not subject the SRS-ECU to any shocks when removing or installing the instrument panel.

Pre-removal and Post-installation Operation

Removal and Installation of Instrument Under Cover (Refer to TRIMS ).
Removal and Installation of Glove Box (Refer to TRIMS ).
Removal and Installation of Instrument Panel Lower Assembly, (Refer to - INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER ).
Removal and Installation of Heater Controller Assembly (Refer to - INSTRUMENT CENTER PANEL ).
Removal and Installation of Floor Console (Refer to - FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ).
Removal and Installation of Radio and CD Player Bracket (Refer to - RADIO AND CD PLAYER ).
Removal and Installation of Combination Meter (Refer to, COMBINATION METER ).
