Valve Body Harness Check

  1. Disconnect the CVT assembly connector.
  2. Remove the oil pan. (Refer to OIL PAN AND VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY )
  3. Disconnect the valve body harness connector.
  4. Check for continuity between the relevant CVT assembly connector terminals and the valve body harness connector terminals.

    Secondary pressure solenoid valve 3 4 Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
    3 Other than above No continuity
    Select solenoid valve 4 2 Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
    4 Other than above No continuity
    Lock-up solenoid valve 5 3 Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
    5 Other than above No continuity
    Primary pressure sensor 13 11 Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
    13 Other than above No continuity
    Secondary pressure sensor 14 9 Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
    14 Other than above No continuity
    Sensor ground 18 8 Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
    18 Other than above No continuity
    Sensor power supply 22 10 Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
    22 Other than above No continuity
  5. If not as specified, replace the valve body harness. (Refer to OIL PAN AND VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY )
