Dismounting/Mounting Procedures: Notes

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 10 other vehicles, including the 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer, 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer, 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer, 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer, and 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: The tire should be dismounted from the wheel using the tire changer manufacturer's instructions.
CAUTION: The use of non-genuine wheels may cause the improper installation of tire pressure sensors, possibly resulting in air leakage and damage to sensor.
NOTE: If the Wireless Control Module (WCM), the Keyless Operation System (KOS), or transmitter is replaced, the tire pressure sensors must be registered. See RESET PROCEDURES .
NOTE: Ensure valve cap is always in place except when adjusting tire pressure. If the valve core and valve cap are replaced, use a genuine replacement part. The valve core is similar to a conventional one, but uses nickel plating to avoid corrosion.
