Transfer Oil (AWD): Change

Remove the drain plug and gasket, and gasket to drain the transfer oil.
Install the drain plug and new gasket, and new gasket, then tighten them to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 32 ± 2 N.m (24 ± 1 ft-lb)

Remove the filler plug and gasket, then fill the oil up to the lower edge of the filler plug hole.

Mitsubishi Motors Genuine Super Hypoid Gear Oil API classification GL-5 SAE 80

Filling amount:

0.47 dm ³ (0.50 quarts) < Vehicles without S-AWC >

0.45 dm ³ (0.48 quarts) < Vehicles with S-AWC >
Install the filler plug and new gasket, then tighten them to the specified torqqe.
Tightening torque: 32 ± 2 N.m (24 ± 1 ft-lb)
