2.4L Engine

The air cleaner element will become dirty during use, reducing its effectiveness. Replace it with a new one.

Replacement of air cleaner element: 

1. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. (Refer to AIR CLEANER .)
2. Pull out the volume air flow sensor connector.
3. Unclamp the cover.
4. Open up the top of the cover and take out the air cleaner element and install a new one.
5. When clamping the air cleaner cover and the air cleaner body in place, be sure that the cover is completely closed.
