Check Of Freeze Frame Data
By using scan tool, the freeze frame data can be checked (Refer to HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS ) .
When detecting fault and storing the DTC, the ECU connected to CAN bus line obtains the data before the determination of the DTC and the data when the DTC is determined, and then stores the ECU status of that time. By analyzing each data using scan tool, troubleshooting can be carried out efficiently. The displayed items are as the table below:
DISPLAY ITEM LIST
| Item No. | Item name | Data item | Unit | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Odometer | Total driving distance when the DTC is set | mile | ||
| 02 | Ignition cycle | Number of times the electric motor switch is turned ON or LOCK (OFF) after the past failure transition | Number of counts is displayed. | ||
| 03 | Elapsed time after failure | Total elapsed time after a DTC is generated | min(1) | ||
| 04 | Current trouble accumulative time | Cumulative time for current malfunction of DTC | min | ||
| 06 | Torque sensor (main) | Voltage of the main torque sensor when the DTC is generated | V | ||
| 07 | Torque sensor (sub) | Voltage of the sub torque sensor when the DTC is generated | V | ||
| 08 | Torque sensor (power supply) | Voltage of torque sensor power supply when the DTC is generated | V | ||
| 09 | Motor current | Current of motor when the DTC is generated | A | ||
| 10 | Motor current (target) | Current of motor (target value) when the DTC is generated | A | ||
| 11 | Relay voltage | Voltage of power supply relay when the DTC is generated | V | ||
| 12 | Vehicle speed | Vehicles speed when the DTC is generated | km/h (mph) | ||
