Steering Angle Check

  1. Check that the wheel alignment is normal (Refer to ON-VEHICLE SERVICE , FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT ) .
  2. Place the front wheel onto the turning radius gauge, and measure the steering angle.
    STANDARD VALUE

    Inner wheel 43°±2°00' (left/right difference: 2°00' max)
    Outer wheel (reference value) 35°
  3. If not within the specification, replace the steering gear and linkage assembly (Refer to POWER STEERING GEAR BOX AND LINKAGE ) .
