Auto-Dimming Feature Test
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Check that the automatic anti dazzling mirror is on. The green operation indicator light will be lit when the automatic anti dazzling mirror is on. If it's not, press the switch to turn on the auto-dimming interior mirror. Make sure that the selector lever is not in the R range.
- Cover the front light sensor on the back of the mirror with a black cloth.
- Check that the mirror dims within 2 minutes when the light strikes the rear light sensor.
- If the mirror does not dim, replace the automatic anti dazzling mirror.
