SERVICE INFORMATION

RESETTING THE SERVICE REMINDER  - 2007 & later Outlander, 2008 Lancer w/out Navi.

To reset the maintenance reminder period, it may be easier to use the steps from the owner's manual (page 3-135). The ignition switch must be in the OFF position. Depress the INFO button on the instrument panel until the service reminder screen is displayed (an icon representing a wrench is displayed with other information). Press and hold the INFO button for about 2 seconds until the wrench icon begins to flash. Within 10 seconds, press the INFO button again and the screen will change from "-" to "CLEAR." The display will then show the months and mileage remaining to the next periodic service.

To reset the reminder using the scan tool, follow the procedure in the service manual information. To search on the MEDIC, input the vehicle information and click SERVICE

MANUAL. In the TOPIC SEARCH field, type "reminder." When the results list is displayed, click on "Service Reminder Function Set."
