SERVICE INFORMATION

A/C Optional Equipment - 2008 Lancer DE. Lancer DE vehicles do not all come with A/C. However ALL Lancers have the compressor and cooling unit pre-installed at the factory. Only factory option group (FOG) A05 represents a DE level vehicle with a/c installed at the factory. Adding air conditioning involves addition of a kit (part # 7810A117) for installing additional parts. If you see a vehicle equipped with and A/C compressor, but without the cooling lines installed, check the FOG. Do not submit claims for missing A/C equipment on other DE vehicles.
