Release Handle: Installation

  1. Position the release handle (2) in the tailgate and connect the latch links (3) to the clips (1).

  2. Remove the three mounting screws (2) to the release handle (1). Tighten bolts to 26 N.m (19 ft. lbs.).
    NOTE: If equipped with a tailgate cover, it must be reinstalled after the release handle mounting bolts are tightened.
