Initialization Procedure For ETV

When the battery cable is disconnected and reconnected, ETV value (Fully closed position) is eliminated, so that the throttle valve opening angle control would not be performed correctly.

When the battery cable is disconnected and reconnected, initialize the ETV using the following procedure.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position and then, place the ignition switch in "LOOK" (OFF) position.
2. For 10 seconds or more, keep the ignition switch in "LOOK" (OFF) position.
