DTC Set Conditions
- Engine is being cranked
- Battery voltage is 10-16 volts.
Judgement criteria is when the EVAP purge solenoid coil surge voltage (battery voltage plus 2 volts) is not detected when EGR solenoid is turned from on to off. The PCM monitors for this condition once during the drive cycle.
- Battery voltage is 10-16 volts.
- ON duty cycle of the EVAP purge solenoid is 10-90 percent.
- ON duty cycle of the EGR solenoid is zero percent.
- EVAP ventilation solenoid is off.
- More than one second has elapsed after above conditions have been met.
Judgement criteria is when the EVAP purge solenoid coil surge voltage (battery voltage plus 2 volts) is not detected for one second when the EVAP purge solenoid is turned off.
