Key Reminder Switch

  1. Remove steering column covers and disconnect key reminder switch connector. See Fig 1 . With key removed, continuity should be present between key reminder switch terminals No. 4 (Black wire) and No. 6 (Blue/Red wire).
  2. With key inserted, no continuity should be present between key reminder switch terminals No. 4 and 6. If continuity between key reminder switch terminals is not as specified, replace key reminder switch.
