Drive Cycles

All kinds of diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) can be monitored by carrying out a test drive according to one of the appropriate drive cycle patterns. In other words, doing such a drive regenerates any kind of trouble which involves illuminating the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (SERVICE ENGINE SOON or Check Engine) and verifies the repair procedure has eliminated the trouble.
