Anti-Lock Brake System

The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is designed to prevent wheel lock-up during heavy braking. This allows operator to maintain steering control while stopping vehicle in shortest distance possible. Major components are wheel speed sensors, ABS Electronic Control Unit/Hydraulic Unit (ECU/HU) and ANTI-LOCK warning light. ABS has a self-diagnostic system to indicate a system malfunction and for use in system trouble shooting.
