Test 1: Montero

  1. Check power window main switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If switch is okay, go to next step. If switch is faulty, replace switch then retest system.
  2. Test front door power window motor. See POWER WINDOW MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If motor is okay, go to next step. If motor is faulty, replace motor then retest system.
  3. Check Red/Black and Green/Black wiring between power window main switch and power window motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair wiring as necessary, then retest system.
