Steering Column: Disassembly

Remove joint assembly. See Fig 1 , Fig 2 , Fig 3 or Fig 4 . Remove boot, cover and bearing. Remove snap ring, stopper and spacer. If removing steering lock, back out bolt using chisel and screwdriver. Remove steering lock and bracket.

CAUTION: If steering lock is removed, use NEW steering lock bracket and bolts when assembling steering lock.
