Trouble Shooting
NOTE:
Verify power door lock system is operating properly before trouble shooting anti-theft system. See
REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY & POWER DOOR LOCKS article. Ensure all component terminals and ground connections are clean and tight. Repair or replace as necessary.
Trouble shooting anti-theft system is accomplished with diagnosis by symptom. Locate appropriate primary symptom in SYMPTOM CHARTS. See Figure or SYMPTOM INDEX (ECLIPSE) table. Refer to the appropriate test under SYSTEM TESTS for diagnosing appropriate circuit.
