DTC Set Criteria
- ECT sensor output voltage increased from less than 1.6 volts to more than 1.6 volts. Code will set when ECT sensor output voltage stays greater than 1.6 volts for 5 minutes.
- Code will set if engine coolant temperature does not increase to at least 45°F (7°C) within 1-5 minutes after engine starts. PCM will not count time when Volume Airflow (VAF) sensor average output frequency is 70 Hz or less or fuel is shut off.
