No Communication With Mut II (Scan Tool)
- Disconnect ABS ECU harness connector A-02. Turn igniton switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 15 (Red/Yellow wire) at ABS ECU harness connector A-02. If battery voltage exists, go to step 5 . If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step.
- Inspect condition of wiring and connectors between terminal IG2 (Blue/Red wire) at ignition switch and terminal No. 15 (Red/Yellow wire) at ABS ECU harness connector A-02. If no damage exists, go to next step. If any damage is found, repair and go to step 5 .
- Inspect condition of wiring and connectors between terminal No. 12 (Green/Red wire) at ABS ECU harness connector A-02 and terminal No. 1 (Green/Red wire) at Data Link Connector (DLC) C-29. Inspect condition of wiring and connectors between terminal No. 11 (Red/White wire) at ABS ECU harness connector A-02 and terminal No. 7 (Red/White wire) at DLC C-29. If any damage is found, repair wiring or connectors and go to step 5 . If wiring is not damaged go to next step.
- Inspect condition of wiring and connectors in Black wire between terminals No. 16 and 30 (traction control only) and ground location at right rear corner of engine compartment. Inspect condition of wiring and connectors in Black wire between terminal No. 19 and ground location at middle of right inner fender in engine compartment. Repair any damage found and go to next step.
- Confirm that MUT II or scan tool will communicate with ABS ECU.
