Test No. 2

  1. Check continuity between DLC harness connector terminal No. 9 (Black/Blue wire) and junction block connector B-51 (under left side of dash) terminal No.17 (Black/Blue wire). If continuity is not present, repair open in Black/Blue wire. If continuity is present, go to next step.
  2. Check continuity between junction block connector B-51 (behind left side of dash) terminal No. 17 (Black/Blue wire) and ETACS-ECU harness connector terminal No. 14 (Black/Blue wire). If continuity is not present, repair open in Black/Blue wire. If continuity is present, go to next step.
  3. Check for continuity between DLC harness connector terminal No. 4 (Black wire) and junction block connector B-49 (behind left side of dash) terminal No. 1 (Black Wire). If continuity is not present, repair open in Black wire. If continuity is present, go to next step.
  4. Using scan tool, attempt to establish communication with one-shot pulse input signal. If communication attempt fails, replace faulty ETACS-ECU.
