Test No. 7

  1. Perform simplified diagnostic mode test. See SIMPLIFIED DIAGNOSTIC MODE under MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEM article. If normal code output is possible, go to next step. If normal code output is not possible, see MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEM article.
  2. While in multiplex control system diagnostics, perform switch diagnosis mode. If ETACS-ECU buzzer sounds and high beam indicator illuminates for 0.1 second when power window main switch is depressed, go to next step. If buzzer does not sound and high beam indicator does not illuminate, replace door module.
  3. Check connectors and circuit between ETACS-ECU and left rear power window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair if necessary. If connectors and circuits are okay, replace ETACS-ECU.
