Test No. 1
- Check power window relay. See COMPONENT TESTS
. Replace as necessary. If relay is okay, check voltage between ground and power window relay connector terminals No. 1 and 5. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step 4).
- Disconnect assist-ECU harness connector B-53. SeeFig 1
. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between ground and assist-ECU harness-side connector B-53 terminal No. 51. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step 5).
- Check connectors to power window relay, left side of dash-to-front door harness, and front door module. Repair as necessary. If connectors are okay, check circuit between power window relay, assist-ECU and between power window relay and front door module. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Repair is necessary. If circuits are okay, replace assist-ECU.
- Check connector to power window relay. Repair as necessary. If connector is okay, check circuit between power supply and power window relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Repair if necessary. If circuits are okay, go to next step.
- Check connector to passenger compartment fuse/relay block and assist-ECU. Repair if necessary. If connectors are okay, check and repair circuit between fuse and assist-ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
