- If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Tan and Violet/Brown wires.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM Black connector terminals No. 1 (Tan wire) and No. 20 (White/Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Tan and White/Black wires.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM Black connector terminals No. 2 (Light Blue wire) and No. 7 (Violet/Brown wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Light Blue and Violet/Brown wires.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM Black connector terminals No. 2 (Light Blue wire) and No. 20 (White/Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Light Blue and White/Black wires.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM Black connector terminals No. 7 (Violet/Brown wire) and No. 14 (Light Green/Red wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Violet/Brown and Light Green/Red wires.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between BCM Black connector terminals No. 14 (Light Green/Red wire) and No. 20 (White/Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between Light Green/Red and White/Black wires.
- If resistance is more than 5 ohms, ensure BCM connectors are connected. Check resistance between BCM case and ground. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair BCM case ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, check resistance between chassis ground and BCM Black connector terminal No. 19 (Black/Light Green wire). If resistance is more than 15 ohms, repair open in Black/Light Green wire. If resistance is less than 15 ohms, replace BCM.
