Test 8E - Bus Short To 5 Volts

After each repair, perform TEST VER-1.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Use scan tool in ohmmeter mode to check resistance of instrument cluster Red connector terminal No. 4 (Black/Light Green wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Black/Light Green wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Check resistance of Blue instrument cluster connector terminal No. 11 (Black/Orange wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Black/Orange wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace instrument cluster.
