Code P0105: Barometric Pressure Circuit Fault

NOTE: For component terminal identification, see TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  in this article. For appropriate WIRING DIAGRAMS, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  section.
  1. Install test harness (MB991348) between volume airflow sensor harness connector and sensor. Measure voltage between airflow sensor connector terminal No. 2 (Orange wire) and ground. Voltage should be 3.7-4.3 volts at 0 ft. (0 m) to 3.2-3.8 volts at 3937 ft. (1200 m). If voltage is within specification, go to next step. If voltage is not within specification, go to step  3 .
  2. Turn ignition on. With PCM connector connected, measure voltage between PCM terminal No. 85 (Orange wire) and ground. Voltage should be 3.7-4.3 volts at 0 ft. (0 m) to 3.2-3.8 volts at 3937 ft. (1200 m). If voltage is within specification, check PCM connector. If PCM connector is okay, replace PCM. If voltage is not within specification, check wiring harness between PCM and airflow sensor connector.
  3. Disconnect volume airflow sensor connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between airflow sensor connector terminal No. 1 (Green/Yellow wire) and ground. Voltage should be 4.8-5.2 volts. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between airflow sensor connector terminal No. 1 (Green/Yellow wire) and ground. If voltage is within specification and continuity exists, go to next step. If voltage is not within specification or continuity does not exist, go to step  5 .
  4. Check airflow sensor connector and wiring harness between PCM and airflow sensor connector. If connector and wiring is okay, replace volume airflow sensor.
  5. Check PCM connector and wiring harness between PCM and air-flow sensor connector. If connector and wiring is okay, replace PCM.
